Only a small number of American Express Travel Services Representatives are able to participate in this program at this time, and it is currently being advertised by American Express!
• An exciting new program offered exclusively at Cruise Planners/American Express
• Use your American Express Reward Points to buy any vacation
• Use as many points as you wish to cover all or part of the price
• All cruise lines and vacations packages apply
Using the American Express Card
The most important thing to understand about the Program is that your American Express card must be charged for the trip. Then, your points will be converted into cash and transferred to your card as a credit.
So you don’t have to worry about losing a reservation under a short option because you can take advantage of the program after you have made full or final payment! But the transaction must be done within 30 days of the payment date.
And, you can use your points to pay in part or in full for the vacation. So if you have enough points to cover the full amount it’s almost like traveling for free! Otherwise, you can use any form of payment to cover the balance due.
However, once the points have been converted to cash and used to pay for the vacation, the transaction cannot be reversed and the points cannot be redeposited. If you cancel the vacation, or is in any other manner due a refund on the booking, it will be issued back to the card as cash value by the cruise line or travel supplier.
- Eligible cards are all American Express consumer cards and Open Small Business Executive cards.

- Once the transaction has been completed it cannot be reversed and points cannot be redeposited into the account.
